Read the entire interview on www.denimology.com JANUARY 2009 Lee Holman joins Habitual as its new Creative Director and has an ambitious vision for the future of the premium denim brand. Having twelve years of experience in the fashion industry, he is ready to take on one of Los Angeles' original premium denim brands and turn it into a modern contemporary brand. Born and raised in London England, Holman developed a keen eye for tailoring and an acute sense of style through his studies. He received a master's degree from the prestigious Central Saint Martins fashion program, where he laid the foundation upon which he built his impressive career. Holman has focused his efforts primarily on elaborate, structural design detail and mastering fit. Upon completion of his studies, Holman was determined to make a name for himself in the fashion industry. Designing for a number of renowned fashion companies, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Levi's Strauss & Company, and Paul Smith, Holman gained much of his expertise. Holman then became Creative Director for the luxury brand, Thomas Burberry. In his two -and-a-half years at Burberry, using the classic trench as his muse, Holman went on to bring personality and refinement to the brand with a combination of classic designs and modern ideas. Leaving the classic trench for the five pocket jean, Holman has refined and perfected the Habitual jean. Using his extensive knowledge of denim processing and washing along with his distinctive skill in creating fashion forward designs, he will combine a fresh contemporary edge with Habitual's sophisticated design. Lee Holman has made himself an asset to the progression and success of the Habitual brand with his vision, unwavering drive, and passion for his work.
